How to create your own luck in business

How to create your own luck in business

written by john c ashworth

Thomas Jefferson once said, "the harder I work, the luckier I get."

I think that about sums it up. I mean, you can't control everything, but you can control how hard you work and probably even more importantly, how smart you work. And the more you do the more you will accomplish.

Right now, one of the best ways you can ensure more luck in your business is to focus on your content creation. I know, I know...here we go again. Another business blog lecturing you about how and why it's so important for your business to publish and create content. Hold on...

Did you catch that?

It just slipped out...

I wrote, "publish" and create content.

This is a subtle and very important distinction. And for those of you who are still not quite understanding, here it is...

If you want to create more luck inside your business, you need to start thinking of yourself more like a pulblisher. No matter what kind of business you're in, creating and publishing great content that is educational, informative and entertaining is now essential.

I have heard this story on more than one occasion now from the funeral directors I serve at Frazer Consultants. Some new up-start competitor arrives in town and before they even knew what was happening, this new hot shot came in and quickly dominated their local marketplace, in large part, by dominating the airwaves with a higher level in quantiy and quality of great informative and engaging content that is stealing marketshare by hijacking peopl's attention from you.

What are you going to do about it?

Are you ready to begin the journey of creating a true and lasting commitment to becoming a "publisher" in the business of...'fill in the blank here.'

I hope so.

And if you're a funeral director or funeral home, be sure to check out the Frazer Growth Engine digital marketing and Google review system. It's a great way to start!
