The irresistible pull of irrational behavior

As usual, I'm reading multiple books at one time. A life long habit.

It's amazing sometimes how they tie together. Like a magic rope designed to pull you forward if you'll only hang on and not give in and let go.

Today, one book led me to another, and they just so happened to relate very closely to a video my son sent me about the latest problems with the Boeing 737 Max 8.

The idea that it is all too easy for any of us, at any time, to be swayed by popular opinion, our tainted belief systems, and our unconscious nature as human beings to always want to fit in or to win.
