Life is not always fair, so get to work!

written by john c ashworth

Things are not always fair. So, get to work! And when work doesn’t go well or the way you want it to go, especially when you’re selling stuff, pick-up the pieces and get back to work. Call the next prospect. Send the next email. Do the next right thing and always keep present in your mind the truth, which is that things are not fair a lot of the time. But that if you accumulate enough right actions and enough of the time, you will increase the chances that stuff does go your way more of the time, and pretty soon you’ll be able to look back on a track record that looks a lot like the stock market index graph over the last 30 years. A rising trend with a lot of set-backs.

Yes. There is a disparity between rich and poor.

We may have improvements to make in that department, but be careful not to ignore the ever important question…

How much is a true disparity, and how much is related to behavior? We must strive for accuracy in our answer to this.

Time to get back to work.

if I've learned anything sharing my life with a farmer's daughter - there is always more work! :). Thanks for your patience with me, Laura 🙂

Proud of you and all the success you have had in your life, I see a lot of your Dad in what you do. Not everyone understood your Dad but to me he had so much to give and I feel blessed that he touched me and my heart. Miss him as I can only imange you also miss him. Love Aunt Cathy(Bubba) to you.

    1. thanks, Bubba. Love you too :). -J
