My son Carl started work on a new version of his resume last night and it was interesting to watch him muddle through the realities of navigating Microsoft Word. Yes, we are all engaged in technology as consumers, but how much are you creating and how well do you know and understand how to manipulate the tools that can help you communicate more effectively with the world?

There is tremendous value in time spent tinkering. I've learned immensely about technology in this fashion.
